This work emerged from my bachelor thesis in graphic design at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. It is to be understood as a documentation of a design process without an actual end-product.
The issue 10/08 of the economy magazine brand eins reported in their main focus about the subject of improvisation from different angels such as economy, science or sports. Therefrom I reflected, how improvisation is being used in graphic design and how I can use it in the design process. Improvisation was to help me work against predominant routines, rules and conventions. My aim was to get lots of different design solutions in a short time.
